Self-reliance is the religion of the world. 

It is venerated in schools, 

books, movies and fairy tales. 

Beloved, we who are not of this world,

to trust in Christ 

and not themselves.

Church should be a place 

where the person and work of Christ 

is proclaimed

in a thousand different ways,

and a place where

you are reminded WHO YOU ARE in Christ,

not who you should try and be.

SPEAK LIFE

  "Life and death 

are in the power of the tongue,

and they that love it [the tongue]

will eat of its fruits."

Proverbs 18:21

What we believe in our heart

always comes out in our speech,

 (for good or ill),

manifesting its reality

into our lives.

Believe 

what God has given 

to you in Christ, 

and believe

who you are in Christ,

and speak it.

 

COMMON GROUND

Sometimes the most

effective evangelism

starts with a

simple question,

and listening

to the heart. 

EARS TO HEAR

The truths of the Gospel

become reality 

only when

we believe what we hear

(Hebrews 4:2).

Dare to believe God's

exceedingly great 

and precious promises

until they come to pass.

(Hebrews 6:12)

JUDGMENT OF THE UNGODLY

When God sends judgment 

on the ungodly, 

He commands deliverance

for the righteous.

(2 Peter 2:6-9; Proverbs 3:25-26, et.al.)

Believers face 

persecution (for glory)

and trials (for refining), 

but we who are God's own

are delivered from judgment,

for Christ has already

been judged in our place.

FEAR NOT.

  

PRE-APPROVED

You may not have had the blessing

of your earthly father's approval,

but you need never strive

for your Heavenly Father's approval

nor fear that you are not good enough.

Jesus paid the price for your
FULL APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE.

Eph 1:4-6

HIS LOVE FOR YOU

There's nothing that makes us

more STEADFAST

and MATURE

and IMMOVABLE

as knowing the love of God

personally

experientially

intimately

confidently

(Eph 3:17-19)

WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Sometimes in our longing

to do something big for God,

we forget the people around us.

It's not as glamorous

as going on a mission trip.

And it feels so ordinary.

But it's powerful.

SOON...

It will be said on that day, 

“Behold, this is our God; 

we have waited for Him, 

that He might save us. 

This is the LORD; 

we have waited for Him; 

let us be glad 

and rejoice in His salvation.”

(Isaiah 25:9)
